Buck 65 and D-Sisive Are…The Ricardo Christoff Apparatus!

Hey Young World!

Buck 65 and D-Sisive are teaming up – as The Ricardo Christoff Apparatus – for a project called 100 Story Building. But we need your help to make it work

We re looking for stories. Tell us a story about a person you know – a friend, a relative, a love interest, a co-worker, a roommate The story should be funny, strange, tragic, inspiring, epic or all of the above. We ll pick a bunch of the best stories and turn them into songs. That s it! Be sure to tell us the name of the person the story is about, because that will be the title of the song. Instant immortalization!

Buck 65 and D-Sisive have laid it all on the line telling their stories with guts and teeth and blood for years and now they want to tell the story of our fellow man/woman/beast.

Send the greatest story ever told to 100storybuilding@gmail.com and leave the rest to us.

“Many things inspired me in 2009, but not all moved me the way “Anvil! The Story of Anvil” (documentary) and Dead Man’s Bones (LP) did. I knew I had to involve the two in my own work, somehow. And here it is. ‘Anvil!’ is an updated ‘Brian Wilson’, combined with samples from the documentary, Anvil!, over the composition ‘Werewolf Head’. One delicious lawsuit waiting to happen.” – D-Sisive

New free album from D-Sisive, a follow up to his impressive, Let The Children Die’. The release is timed with 31st anniversary of the Jonestown Massacre.

“It’s the Kool Aid,” describes D-Sisive of his newest LP. The Juno nominated artist decided to take a break from his dark/depressing content to focus on the “punchline/battle-rap” style he became known for in the late nineties. The album boasts production from heavyweights Muneshine (Sean Price), Moss (Ghostface, Obie Trice), Anonymous Twist (Planet Asia), Murr (LAL, formerly of The Grassroots), Toronto-born/NY-based Marco Polo (Heltah Skeltah, Masta Ace), 9th Uno and Shinogo. Toronto artist Slim Twig (paper bag records) also makes an appearance on the Shinogo produced ‘Around The World’. The Muneshine produced single ‘West Coast’ is already charting across the country.

One of my favourite joints from D-Sisive’s latest release, “Let The Children Die”, which dropped earlier this year. Look out for D-Sisive’s new FREE LP, “Jonestown”, dropping Wednesday, November 18th, right here and on D-Sisive.com. “Jonestown” is a little less experimental than “Let The Children Die”, as it has D-Sisive going back to his boom-bap roots over production from Muneshine, MoSS, Marco Polo, Anonymous Twist, & more!
