There’s a Graffiti Art show at the new Sun and Moon Gallery, which is right across the field from Telus Field on 10125 -97th ave and you can’t miss it because it has a tipi right in front of it. The art show is on all month and everything is up for sale too. It features two local artists that you would have definitely seen around the city. I also visited the legal wall, where they just added a new piece the night prior.
Grim Empirr presents Summer Madness at the ARTery in Edmonton. This show featured a bunch of up and coming artists like NSP, The Over Achievers, Extended Clip Ent, Ninelives & Kryple, Chubbs and Grim Empire.
The Legendary Dead Prez came to Edmonton and performed at the Starlite Room. Opening up was Deezus from Calgary, Tuffhouse, Politic Live with Kazmega and K-Riz and Touch and Nato.
The finals to the previous preliminary battles are at stake to see who are the Hip Hop in the Park MC and Producer Winners.
Shawn Bernard presents Plex and Skelpa Squad at the Gas Pump, also performing was Red3 and Hellnback.
