For the past four years, RezX Magazine has hosted this prestigious event in different cities across Western Canada; 2005 in Saskatoon, 2006 in Vancouver and 2007 & 2008 in Edmonton. On top of hosting over 35 events, mostly all sell outs, RezX has never ever thrown a party in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

So for our first Winnipeg event, we teamed up with the cities own Skelpa Squad Entertainment, which are known for their great parties. And what better first party than the RezX VIP After Party, which is always our classiest yet craziest party of the year! Last year in Edmonton, it attracted well over 600 people, so this year should be even bigger and better! So come out and enjoy a good time and good music courtesy of various DJ’s, music acts and special Aboriginal celebrity guests (see below for line up).

This year, we decided to go with a Barack Obama theme of, “Yes We Can Celebrate!” Because if you didn’t get a chance to celebrate Obama’s win, why not celebrate now – celebrate “Change” and celebrate the 5th Anniversary of RezX Magazine! Invite all your friends and homies, dress to impress – it’s going down – RezX style!

The highly anticipated, long awaited C.D by Shawn Bernard/ FEENIX ” On Tha Rise ” which was nominated for Best Rap/Hip hop Album at The 2008 Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards in Toronto will finally be released to the general public!Also as a bonus, a first time public screening of Shawn’s first professional video shot by Will Belcourt’s Red Wizard Media dubbed “From Tha Get go” feat. C-PRIAN.The party will be D.J’d by the one and only D.J. CreeAzn! There will be door prizes and giveaways by The Gas Pump and JCO Clothing so dont miss out on some free gear. Also performing will be C-Prian, Mother Peace, The Franchise and Raydarr, Eloquence and special guests The Cree Clan and Blu! In addition there will be a dope performance by” Urban Spirits”.
